In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Blaine & Preciosa Tamaki publicly launched their family foundation in July 2020 to support charitable organizations that promote inclusion and justice with a focus on nonprofits in the Yakima Valley. Since then, the Foundation has awarded more than 200 grants to nonprofit organizations across various causes including education, environment, food insecurities, healthcare, arts, etc. As part of the Foundation’s mission, they strive to exceed an annual payout of at least 15%, award unrestricted grants, and prioritize organizations serving people of color.

The Blaine & Preciosa Tamaki Foundation appreciates the opportunity to support Earth Day Yakima, which aligns with their vision of promoting inclusive and caring communities and promoting sustainable change. Thank you Earth Day Yakima!
